Archived News Item| June Meeting Notes |
We had a great time at the meeting last evening with a tremendous turn out. Thanks to everyone that
was able to take time out of their busy schedules to join us.
If you are interested in being considered for the group position of moderator, please
e-mail us and let us know.
Same thing goes for the secretary position; if you are interested,
shoot us an e-mail.
There was some discussion about whether or not Java Dave's at 6:00 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month was a
good place and time for getting together. It was agreed, for the time being, that this schedule and location
will work for everyone. However, this is flexible and could be changed in the future by the agreement of the group.
Thanks to everyone for enduring my short code demonstration. If you are interested in getting the docs
or the source code from the demonstration, you can get it here.
Finally, let me continue to encourage everyone. If you would like to contribute content, articles, code samples, etc... to the
site, please let us know.
If we dont hear from you sooner, we look forward to seeing everyone again in July!

Archived News Item| See you at the next club meeting! |
Next Meeting at Java Daves 6:00PM June the 14th.
We hope everyone can make it
We have had a great response for this meeting. We have put together a preliminary meeting agenda:
- Call to order
- Review and approval of last meeting notes
- Discussion of new business
- Appointment of a Moderator
- Appointment of a Secretary
- Other issues as raised
- Code example presentation
- Question and answer
- Close of meeting
We really appreciate all of the interest that we are receving.
It is possible that we may still slightly alter the format pending confirmation on the availibility of
persons for the meeting. We want to try to keep meetings to about an hour.
It would probably be a good idea to bring a wireless lap top if you have one available. Java Dave's has a hot spot
that we can use to connect to example sites.
If there are specific PHP topics that you would like to see discussed, please
e-mail them to us. If you have code examples that you feel would benefit
the other members that you would like to present or have posted on the site, please send those to us also.
